EHL Forward commits to the Valiants of Manhattanville College

BURLINGTON, VT – The Vermont Lumberjacks are excited to announce the commitment of Louis-Joseph Guernon to Manhattanville College this Fall of ‘23. The three year EHL forward for the Lumberjacks racked up 52 points and 23 goals this season.

“Louis will definitely be missed. His on-ice skills are dynamic, but he also has a great personality which allows him to become bonded with his teammates.” Said Head Coach Seth Gustin “I’m sure he will continue to bring those attributes into the Manhattanville program and community. I’m so happy Louis trusted our program and league to help him achieve the commitment he wanted. I look forward to watching him play again.”

"Going to the NCAA level for a hockey player is a big step” said the Boisbriad, QC native “I can’t thank enough my parents and friends that helped me through the whole process. I also wanted to thank the Vermont Lumberjacks program that gave me the chance to wear that jersey for the last 3 years. I grew as both an individual while learning to become a better hockey player on both sides of the ice. Can’t wait to start !#govaliants "

Louis becomes the 5th Lumberjack player to commit to the Valiants since 2019 and the second this year.
