During his time at Fitchburg State University, Jim graduated with a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science and went on to obtain his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist). While finishing up his classes, he started his coaching career as the Head Coach at the High School level for two seasons.  He then went on to coach in the U18 Midget Tier 1 Elite Team which won Districts and made it to the national tounament before moving to the MJHL team with the Jr Flyers.

This past season, Coach Mosso led the Hartford Jr Wolfpack's MJHL team to a record of 30-11-0-3 and a playoff run all the way to the Final Four.

"I have watched Jimmy over the past 5 seasons progress as a coach and a young man.  I am very impressed with Jimmy's dedication and the tireless effort he gives to his players and his coaching profession.  Coach Doc is very much looking forward to having Jimmy involved with the organization.  We are very fortunate to get a coach like Coach Mosso," commented Stephen Lary, Owner of the Lumberjacks.
