Upon making his decision and commitment Evan Antisdale said: “I am excited to announce my commitment to Western New England University for the upcoming fall semester. I'm very thankful for the opportunity presented to me to continue my hockey career and further my education. Playing college hockey is something every player looks forward to when they're young and I couldn't be more excited. I would like to thank my family, Mr. Lary, Coach Doc, John Hamre, my teammates and many others for their support throughout my career and the college search process”.

“Evan is an outstanding person to coach, and a strong leader respected by his peers.  In his role as team Captain, Evan displayed a purposeful resolve, an even tone of voice, and a reassuring confidence to all other players daily, that has made this season a most positive experience for all players and coaches on the team.  Evan’s leadership and personality is consistent.  Daily he is positive, enthusiastic, and purposeful in his approach to team leadership, and selfless in his interactions with teammates and friends,” remarked Head Coach Doc DelCastillo.

“Evan has been with our organization the past two years.  He presents the academic strengths to be a perfect fit for Western New England University.  Our organization is very proud of Evan Antisdale, wish him the best in his pursuit of a degree and his hockey career and will be excited to follow his college career beginning in the fall of 2015,” stated Coach Doc DelCastillo.
