The Vermont Lumberjacks are proud to announce that forward Sandy Gray (Providence, RI) has committed to Daniel Webster College (NCAA D-III) for the fall of 2015....

The Vermont Lumberjacks organization congratulates Sandy Gray on his recruitment and commitment to Daniel Webster College.  Sandy is a great young adult and our organization is proud to be associated with his development and growth.  Sandy has tremendous character and work ethic.

Since his arrival Sandy has been a leader with our team on and off the ice.  He presents the academic strengths to be a perfect fit for the Daniel Webster College.  Our organization is very proud of Sandy Gray, wish him the best in his pursuit of a degree and his hockey career and will be excited to follow his college career beginning in the fall of 2015,” stated Lumberjack Head Coach Doc DelCastillo.

“I am very excited to commit to Daniel Webster College for this upcoming Fall. I have been working intently to play college hockey and I am very proud to have made it to that level. I would like to thank my family and friends for all of their support along the way; my father most importantly. There are many others that I wish I could mention, such as Ed Lee, who have helped mold me into the player and person I am today.  Also, I would like to thank the Vermont Lumberjacks organization, Mr. Lary, Coach Doc, Coach Gill and all of my teammates for all of their help. I am very grateful for this opportunity Coach McCambly has given me. I am anxious to continue my education and my development as a hockey player at Daniel Webster,” commented Gray.

The Vermont Lumberjacks organization, proud members of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), congratulate Sandy Gray on his commitment to Daniel Webster College.
