Ryan Hill #28 Commits to University of Wisconsin-River Falls (WIAC, NCAA D-lIl)

The Vermont Lumberjacks are proud to announce that forward and Assistant Captain Ryan Hill (Pleasant Prairie WI) has committed to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (WIAC, NCAA D-lIl) for the fall of 2017. The 5-11", 185 pound forward has 9 goals and 19 assists (28 points) through 48 games of the 2016-17 season.

This year throughout the season Ryan has given his heart and soul to the team and our organization. He is exceptional at sacrificing for the good of his teammates. We are very happy to be associated with such a great student-athlete and we are confident he will prove to be an asset and represent the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in fine form.

“We know that Ryan will do well in any situation that presents itself. We wish him the very best in his pursuit of a degree and his hockey career. We are excited to follow his college career beginning in the fall of 2017. ” said Vermont Lumberjacks Head Coach Doc DelCastillo.

Upon making his decision and commitment Ryan Hill said, “I am proud to announce my commitment to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls for the fall of 2017.  I would like to thank my family, Coach Doc, and the entire Lumberjacks organization for helping me achieve my dream of playing college hockey.  I am looking forward to being back in my home state of Wisconsin to play hockey and go to school. I am excited about being a student-athlete at UW-River Falls and I am proud to be a Falcon”.
