Kowalski was tabbed as the starter shortly prior to puck drop as Skidmore took on the nationally-ranked UMass Boston Beacons on Friday night. It worked out well for the Thorobreds as Kowalski stopped 41 shots in a 3-2 overtime win, and was named the NEHC Goalie of the Week.

After being held off the scoresheet on Friday night against New England College. Kuziak posted a career-high three points in the Spartans win over the Southern Maine Huskies on Saturday. Kuziak's goal and two assists helped lead the way to a 5-1 win, and earned himself the NEHC Rookie of the Week award.
